ABOUT US
Chosen Freedom Academy is founded by
Aina Johnson M.Ed., Ed.S. She is an educator for 20+ years and has acquired several awards for her excellence in teaching including being the
“Teacher of the Year” in DeKalb County Schools. She has worked in a variety of capacities from teaching in the classroom to coaching teachers. Her passion is to rectify the inequitable education provided to our African American students.
Our vision is to develop critical thinkers by providing rigorous learning experiences that cultivate the natural love of inquiry-based learning through a morally and culturally relevant curriculum.
Our mission is to foster a fun, nurturing, and rigorous educational community that promotes individualized learning and development of the whole child, including moral and emotional development.
